"I Want a Lamborghini", Says Planned Parenthood Senior Staff Member While Haggling Over Baby Parts

In the second video released by the Centre for Medical Progress a senior executive of Planned Parenthood is shown haggling over the price of foetal body parts. In any walk of life outside the abortion issue a full scale criminal investigation would be initiated immediately. But the reaction of the Obama administration has been truly extraordinary. Spokespersons stating that the videos have been edited without having seen the videos and the President himself has hardly mentioned the incident.

Even if these videos proved to be complete fakes the first thing any right minded person in the position of president would surely be to order a full scale investigation to get to the truth of the matter. To use Planned Parenthood's viewpoint of the videos as your viewpoint is surely reprehensible and is almost an abdication of duty of the President and his administration. It is actually very difficult to comprehend such actions.

Also the Irish media has barely covered this story here either. Most Irish media outlets cover the US political scene but almost a blind eye has been given to this sordid issue. The Irish media has a responsibility to be an independent watchdog of the people. If our media is so biased on any given issue democracy in our country is merely an illusion. Are the media biased on other issues also? It really makes you wonder.
